Sunday Edition Fragrant Candles
Available in two earthy fragrances
Root and Dusk
I’m so excited to introduce a new collection of deliciously fragrant candles, Sunday Edition— “inspired by nature and guided by intention.” At the heart of Sunday Edition is the art of slowing down—a gentle reminder to pause and find beauty in the present moment. Each candle is thoughtfully handcrafted using soy-based wax, natural essential oils, and clean fragrances. Even the packaging reflects this mindful approach. Completely free of plastic, each candle is contained in a custom-made ceramic vessel with the brand name elegantly embossed—an understated and sustainable alternative to traditional labels.
Sarah Szeto, founder and creative director, brings a deeply personal story to the brand. After a long career in the fast-paced fashion industry, she found herself burned out by its demands. Her travels throughout Asia and Europe offered a new perspective—one rooted in a slower, more intentional way of living. She was especially inspired by the European tradition of Sundays: a day set aside for rest, connection, and lingering over meaningful meals with family and friends. From this inspiration, Sunday Edition was born—a celebration of presence, ritual, and the simple beauty of everyday moments.
A brief conversation with Sarah
What do you enjoy the most about your work?
I love creating with intention and translating quiet, everyday moments into scent. It’s rewarding to see how a candle can transform a space and become part of a daily ritual to slow down and reconnect.
What are your favorite things to do during the weekends?
Weekends are for slowing down and embracing a mindful pace. I love visiting the farmer’s market and cooking at home with my family, as these simple rituals deeply inspire my approach to slow living.
What is your favorite food?
I love sushi! I am drawn to its simplicity and balance, where every detail feels considered, which really resonates with my approach to design.
Where are you traveling to on your next trip?
I’m heading to Vancouver, Canada. It’s where I’m from, and being surrounded by nature there during the summer always feels grounding and continues to inspire the philosophy of Sunday Edition.
